OUR COMMUNITY [ open doors ]
When passion, talent, and business skills intertwine, magic can
happen. Add good timing and the blessing of the universe, and
a new yoga studio is born. It was serendipity for founder and
teacher Tamal Dodge – he had not actively planned to open a
studio, but the stars aligned and the perfect space fell into his
lap. In just five weeks, Tamal renovated the space, which included tearing out carpets and replacing them with dark chocolate
wood to mirror the dark ceiling. “Feng Shui was very important,” Tamal explains, and he paid special attention to how energy flows within the sanctuary that he created for the community.
At Yoga Salt, classes are mainly Vinyasa flow, although different
disciplines will be added later on. Tamal believes in diversity; his
roster includes teachers with different styles with a rich mixture
of seasoned veterans, such as Krista Cahill, as well as up-and-comers like Paul Teodo.
Yoga Salt invites students to the special promotion of $30 for
their first month of unlimited yoga.

Fusion Barre Basics.
As a beginner, I was curious about Core Fusion and took a class
at the Santa Monica location where the studio’s cleanliness,
beauty, and staff friendliness impressed me to no end. Instructor Lauren Weisman led an invigorating class that had us all
sweating and working hard. Although it was both physically
and mentally challenging, I felt incredible after.
