PAINTING AND TEXT BY SARAH TOMLINSON DEVANAGARI AND TRANSLITERATION BY DR. JOHN CASEY
Rahu is known in Vedic Astrology as the North Node of
the Moon. Along with Ketu, the South Node, it is one of
the shadow planets, the eclipse points in the sky. Due to
the unusual nature of their forms, they invoke the distinctive and mysterious.
The Rahu Yantra speaks to discovering and then following your deepest desires no matter how unusual, distant,
or unacceptable they may appear. The earthy, smoky
colors in this geometric design encourage the emergence
of groundbreaking ideas from within yourself. Attraction to the Rahu Yantra implies readiness to embark on
journeys, including travel, spending time with friends, or
embarking on your spiritual path.
Working with this Yantra frees energy so you can listen to
and act on your individual voice. By releasing outmoded
ways of thinking and being, new light can emerge. This
new energy manifests in many forms, including anything
from creating unique works of art to instigating a revolution. If you feel strong ambition for accomplishment,
this design provides the strength and conviction to move
beyond obstacles or doubts.
We are each blessed with our unique path; yet, due to conditioning and cultural beliefs, our ability to see this can
become obscured. Meditating with the Rahu Yantra helps
deepen your connection to truth, cultivating courage, self-reliance and the fearlessness to experience life to its fullest.
I am freed by the courage of rahu
