gongs and crystal singing bowls. There’s
an amazing energy that fills the room! We
also teach a “Breathing Circle Meditation”, which, like the Yoga Sound Bath, is
a healing experience that is nothing short
This multi-talented dynamo has also built
a website titled, The Positivity Artist, where
she provides practical tools and inspirational messages for her students and followers.
She often includes passages of her favorite
poetry, many of the ones that she incorporates in her yoga classes. Heather said she
came up with the site idea while thinking
about what aspects of herself she most enjoys sharing with the world, including her
vibrant acrylic and oil paintings. And yes,
she is also an accomplished artist. The website is illustrated with many of Heather's
colorful impressionistic creations and her
optimistic thoughts and inspirations.
Recently, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Heather out of the yoga studio
when we produced a collection of inspiring meditation tracks titled, The Serenity
Toolbox: Practical Guidance for Positive
Thinking. We worked on the project with
fellow yoga teacher, Darby Orr, an accomplished musician and writer. Each track
has its own vibe: some are deeply relaxing
while others are upbeat and motivational.
Heather's unique voice adds a dimension
to the tracks that sets them apart from
so many of the conventional meditation
tracks. I look forward to listening to them
while getting ready for the day or winding
down after work.
I'm certainly grateful for finding Heather
and her life-affirming yoga classes, and
encourage anyone to join us on the mat
and meet this dynamic and joyful teacher.
I always leave with a smile, a new favorite
poem, and a wish list of tunes to buy.
Heather guides private yoga, group
sessions and events in Los Angeles and
throughout the US. To find out more about
