As the days get longer, our bodies
benefit from waking earlier and moving
to improve circulation and deliver fresh,
oxygenated blood to the organs and
tissues, revitalizing them… and you.
Personally, I love to start my day with an invigorating cycling
class – as my legs pump, my hear t starts beating with a more
efficiency, my mind moves with greater ease, and all this movement clears a path for the spark of creative energy to flow. I
also love to be outside this time of year and go for a trail run
to witness Spring blooming in all the flowers lining the path.
And at the farmers’ market, I’m thrilled to see asparagus, leafy
greens, and fresh herbs like parsley and mint, along with plenty
of fresh peas - sugar snap, snow, and shelling. These naturally
cleansing foods are ideal for Spring, but also have other surprising health benefits.
