Simple Acts for
Make your bed and lie in it!

ara Stiles, the teacher the New York Times dubbed
the “Yoga Rebel,” has brought Yoga and the
bed together in a You Tube video. Apparently you can
practice Yoga in bed, which I find fascinating.
Why didn’t anyone think of this before? Maybe
Yoga studios will be like the trendy Miami and New
York restaurants of the ‘90s usurping dining room tables with mattresses on the floor, or in this case, Yoga
mats. We live in exciting times. Thank you Tara for
bringing together two things I love: the bed and Yoga.
We all love our beds, or should. If you work eight
(or more) hours at a desk and add a commute, and
sleep an average of eight hours, consider that you
spend the majority of your time at your house in bed
(especially if you’re doing Yoga in it).
